What have we changed since COVID-19?
We have been thinking A LOT about how to return to our roots -TOURS! In order to do so, it is our duty to determine a way forward that is not only safe and responsible, but make sure that you, our guests, can truly enjoy the experience.
We have policies and procedures in place and are ready to put them to the test. We will kick off our season by offering outdoor walking tours, setting public tour capacities to 12 guests, and requiring tour guides to wear masks. We also will utilize audio headsets on our walking tours that are sanitized after each tour. With a 100 yard range, they work fabulously at amplifying the tour guide and allowing guests to practice social distancing as they wish.
Although we will continue to pause our food tours for the time being, we’ll be rolling out our sightseeing tours next weekend. This includes Around the Ward in 90 Minutes, InstaMKE PhotoWalk, and the Streetcar History Tour. Each is a 1.5 – 2 hour walking tour complete with a stop for a sweet treat!
You can join one of these public tour dates, the calendar for which can be viewed HERE. Public tickets are $30 each.
Private Walking Tours: There are still milestones to celebrate and we can help you plan a fun outing to do just that because these walking tours are available for private groups of friends or family. We require 6 or more guests for a private tour. The rate is $30 each plus 25% gratuity. Private tours can be arranged by emailing events@milwaukeefoodtours.com or by calling 262-853-5239.
Private Sightseeing Tour: Lastly, we are offering our classic sightseeing tour of Milwaukee via a chauffeured vehicle for private groups of 2 or more guests. Your chauffeur will handle the hassles of parking and transportation while your tour guide will show you Milwaukee’s key neighborhoods and you can stop for selfies along the way.
