Pick Your Tour Length

Exit the bus at any one of the scheduled stops and enjoy the sights. You can jump back on when it it returns or choose not to reboard. Popular places to hop off are the Old World 3rd Street, Lakefront Brewery, or Milwaukee Public Market to grab lunch before continuing on the tour.

Tour Meeting Location

The first stop is at the top of the hour at the Hilton City Center, 5th Street entrance but the bus will pick you up at any of the 11 locations along the route (see map for locations, cash or credit accepted on the bus at each pick up spot).

Easiest Parking Options

Free parking can be found at Harley-Davidson Museum. The Hilton City Center has a convenient parking structure available for a fee. Please note that on weekends, most street parking is free. Don't take our word for it though - please check parking signs to verify in your location.

Important Notes

The bus leaves PROMPTLY. Refer to scheduled itinerary for pick up times. Remember, the last loop occurs between 3 pm and 4 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Accessibility

This tour is NOT handicap accessible as attendees will need to go up/down minimal stairs to get on/off the bus. Fold up strollers or walkers are welcome.

Meeting point: Kilborn Avenue entrance – this is on Kilbourn Avenue in front of the cab stand. We do not drive under the awning.

Nearby points of interest include: Milwaukee Public Museum, Milwaukee County Historical Society, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) Panther Arena, Milwaukee City Hall, Red Arrow Park, Milwaukee Theater, Pabst Theatre, Calderone Club, King & I Restaurant, Fonzie Statue.

Meeting Point: Mason Street in front of Mason Street Grille entrance.

Nearby points of interest include: Cathedral Square, St. John the Evangelist, Federal Courthouse, Sculpture Milwaukee (June – October annually – outdoor sculptures along Wisconsin Avenue).

Meeting point: The Orange Art Sculpture at O’Donnell Park.

Meeting point: In front of St. Hedwig’s Church/across from Sciortino’s Bakery.

Meeting point: Directly ACROSS from the Larry, Curly, Moe artwork outside of Lakefront Brewery.

!PRO TIP! If you plan to hop off here, you might want to pre-purchase tickets to Lakefront’s Brewery tour in advance. They sell out! Tickets are $10 per person – includes tokens for 4 beers or 2 root beers of choice! Or, you may take their 20-minute mini tour, beginning 5 minutes after each hour – no tickets required.

Meeting point: In front of The Spice House.

Nearby points of interest include: Mader’s Restaurant, Riverwalk, Usinger’s Sausage, The Spice House, Wisconsin Cheese Mart and Uber Tap Room, Edelweiss Boat Launch, Pere Marquette Park, Milwaukee County Historical Society, Fiserv Forum & Deer District.

Meeting point: Across the market on the northwest corner of Water St. & St. Paul Avenue. This is called Watershed Park and we’ll be stopping at the public bus stop. 

Nearby points of interest include: Milwaukee Public Market, Homewood Suites, The Ale House, Riverwalk, Milwaukee Institute of Design (MIAD), Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, Henry Maier Festival Grounds (home to Summerfest), numerous restaurants and boutiques.

Meeting point: Across from Purple Door Ice Cream at the Bublr Bike stand.

Nearby points of interest include: Purple Door Ice Cream, Indulgence Chocolatiers, Milwaukee Brewing Company, Fixture Pizza Pub, Clock Shadow Creamery, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co., The Noble, Black Sheep, numerous antique shops and restaurants.

Meeting point: East of the main entrance/near the parking structure entrance.

!PRO TIP! If you plan to hop off here, you may want to pre-purchase tickets for a tour at Great Lakes Distillery.

Meeting point: In front of the gift shop, “The Shop.” In the event that the H-D Museum parking lot is closed due to a special event, our pick-up spot will be moved to the entrance of the museum parking lot off 6th Street.

If you are joining us for the Hop on Hop off Sightseeing bus, you can purchase tickets on the bus at any of our 11 pick up locations. We do require advance reservations for our walking tours as they do sell out. Guarantee yourself a spot on our tour by booking in advance directly at www.milwaukeecitytours.com

Yes! All of our tours are available for private events. When your purchase a private tour, you have the flexibility of time, date, and number in party. We are available for corporate, family, bachelor/bachelorette parties, schools, and shore excursion groups. We require 8 of more for a private walking or streetcar tour; 15 of more for a private bus tour. Email info@milwaukeefoodtours.com to book your private tour today.

Our buses are not handicap accessible. Attendees need to go up/down stairs to get on/off the bus as we do not have a wheelchair lift on our buses. Foldable strollers or walkers are welcome on the buses. 

NOTE: Our walking tours are handicap and stroller accessible. Check the tour listing for walking distances. There are plenty of walking breaks and opportunities to sit down along the way.

Please call (414) 216-9426 at least 48 hours before the tour and we would be happy to provide a refund or reschedule your public tour tickets. No refunds are provided to day-of no-show attendees. Our tours are conducted rain or shine. If there is severe weather, we may need to delay the tour or cancel the tour.
